What is this?
Our speaker, Dr. Karen Postal, will present a live webinar for virtual attendees. 1.5 CE's available for this talk.
September 14, 7 to 8:30 p.m EST..As we approach 2050 and more than 50% of the American public are from traditionally minority cultural and linguistic groups, our field’s narrow focus on the neuropsychology of white, English-only speaking patients is both a social justice issue and a healthcare market share issue of staggering proportions. If we are to remain relevant as an evidence-based specialty, we need immediate, disruptive organizational level change. Using AACN’s Relevance 2050 initiative as an example, this workshop will identify racist organizational and advocacy structures that have become invisible and discuss pathways for change at the state, regional and national level. Let’s make some good and necessary trouble!
